Socrates is a great WordPress theme for affiliate marketers or anyone who likes simple and clean designs. This article will give a complete so that you can get a much better idea for what this theme can offer you.

First, you can choose from a number of different layout options to decide how you want your sidebar configured in terms of how many sidebars/no sidebars, where you want the sidebar to appear, etc. They have the fields for adding your site's keywords, meta description, title, etc. so you can easily put in your meta data without working with code or anything. There's a slot to add your Google analytics, your ClickBank ID so you can claim commissions when someone clicks on the logo for Socrates, they'll be taken to the page with your ID in place.

You can also easily put in your social network URLs for your Twitter URL, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and your RSS feed and adding these URL displays very visible and colorful icons right on your pages so people can easily access your social networks.

You can work with how you want your menus to appear and it's as simple as putting in the URL and the title for each entry for the menu. You can also choose where you want your menus displayed like above your banner, below it, and below your content in the footer, as well.

You can tweak specific colors for every single field for your site, as well. This includes the background color, font colors, menu colors, inner menu colors, etc. You can also add your own header very easily simply by uploading it with just a couple clicks of your mouse. If you don't have a header, Socrates still has you covered because they have hundreds of default header image choices to meet virtually any niche's focus.

You can also choose a plain solid color background or a design for your banner and type in your site's title using a number of different fonts. You can do the same to the actual background of your site, choosing from a number of colors or designs.

There's also a nice feature called "banner exchange" which if enabled by you, you agree to let other users of Socrates' banners to appear in a small advertising section of your site. When someone clicks on that banner to visit someone else in your niche's relevant site, your banner will appear on someone else's site, so it's an incentivized way to get free traffic essentially assuming you're okay with displaying other people's banners in that section of your site.
